Typical tree of Mediterranean area with twisted trunk and broad crown of green and shiny leaves. Known since ancient times for the production of olive oil, one of the main ingredient of Mediterranean cuisine. It represents strength and longevity.

It is a very resistant plant, tollerating summer heat, soil dryness and lack of water. It may live hundreds of years.

Its roots contribute to prevent soil erosion and maintain biodiversity of ecosystem. In many Mediterranean regions, olive trees are natural areas of conservation offering habitat to many types of plants and animals.

Olive tree may suffer from some diseases, such as chlorosis, oidium, mycophenolate, knot, zeuzera, which can be prevented and treated using copper and sulphur present in our fertilizers by previously consulting an expert.
